WHAT IS A ROTATOR CUFF TEAR?
Your rotator cuff is comprised of four tendons that insert on the top of your shoulder bone. Your rotator cuff has the important jobs of stabilizing your shoulder and rotating and lifting your arm. A sports or physical activity related injury, fall or aging can cause a partial or complete tear of your rotator cuff. An appointment with us should be made as soon as possible because the tear will require medical treatment in order to fully heal.
